Privacy
Your data, in plain words.

Who we are
DigiBiz is provided by K2026670041 (Pty) Ltd t/a DigiBiz, a company registered in South Africa under CIPC number 2026/670041/07. Our address is 25 Adderley Street, Randburg, Gauteng, 2194. We are the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). When this policy says "we", it means DigiBiz.
This policy covers every DigiBiz service: the Impande WhatsApp service, the Travel and Beyond WhatsApp service, and any other DigiBiz digital service. One policy for the whole umbrella, so you do not read a separate one for each service.
What we collect
What we collect depends on the service you use. We collect only what that service needs.
- Your phone number. WhatsApp gives us your number when you message a DigiBiz WhatsApp service, so we can reply and deliver.
- Your chat messages. The words you send us, and the messages we send back.
- Service details. For Impande: the language you chose and the delivery time you set. For Travel and Beyond: the details your booking needs, such as traveller names, contact details, and the information an airline, hotel, insurer or border authority requires.
- Payment confirmation. When you pay, the payment provider handles your card and sends us a confirmation, not your card number.
For Impande we do not ask for your name, your ID number, your home address or your card details in the chat. For a travel booking we ask only for what the booking itself requires.
How we use it
We use your data to deliver the service you asked for. For Impande: your daily reflection on WhatsApp, in your language, at the time you chose. For Travel and Beyond: your booking, arranged by a human advisor who stays with it until you travel and return. We read your messages so we can reply to you, and we use your contact details to confirm requests such as deletion.
Why we may process this (POPIA)
Under POPIA we process your personal information to perform the service you signed up for, and with your consent. Some of what you write to Impande may reveal your religious or philosophical beliefs. POPIA calls this special personal information and protects it more strictly. We process it only with your separate consent, to give you the reflection you asked for, in that conversation. We do not use it for anything else.
Travel bookings can touch special personal information too, such as health details you share for travel insurance or assistance. We process those only for that purpose, and only with your consent.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone.
- We do not use your data to train AI models.
- We do not show you ads based on your data.
- We do not share your chat with third parties, except the providers that deliver the service you asked for.
Who handles your data
WhatsApp (Meta) carries your messages to us and ours to you on the WhatsApp services. Our hosting providers store the data on servers in South Africa. Our payment provider processes your payment when you pay. For travel bookings, the airline, hotel, insurer or other provider receives only what your booking requires. Where a provider processes data outside South Africa, we rely on the protections in POPIA section 72: their contractual commitments, or your consent.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account or booking is active, and for a short time after so we can close it properly. If you ask us to delete your data, we do. We keep only what the law requires, such as payment and tax records. Tax records we keep for five years, as tax law requires. Travel booking records we keep for as long as we may need them to answer a claim about the booking, and as the law requires.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Object to how we process it.
- Ask us not to use it for direct marketing.
To use any of these rights, email us or message us. The steps are on our data deletion page.

Changes
